"In Lord Ram's place, I would run straight back to the forest"

Lord Ram is one of the most commonly worshipped Hindu Gods. His story is told in the Sanskrit epic, Ramayana, written in 4 BC by the saint Valmiki. Lord Ram is said to have rescued his wife, Sita, after she was kidnapped by the evil demon, Ravana.

Lord Ram is always pictured holding a bow and arrow, indicating his readiness to destroy evil, and he is thought of as being male perfection.
