A kurta is a loose fitting, long shirt, normally made from cotton. They are traditionally worn in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They frequently have embroidery detailing around the neck and can be worn on both formal and casual occasions.

The Gandhi cap takes its name from the Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi, who made it popular during the Indian Independence movement. It is a white hat with a broad band and pointed front and back.
