The Turing Test is a test designed by Alan Turing to determine whether a computer can behave intelligently. In the test, a human judge engages in a text-based conversation with a machine and with a normal human, without knowing which is which. The computer is not tested on correct answers, but on whether it answers as a normal human would. If the human judge cannot tell the difference between the human and the machine, then the machine passes the test.
