A Levirate marriage requires a woman to marry the brother of her deceased husband. This is possible a reference to Avril Incandenza who pursues a relationship with Charles Tavis after the death of her husband, James. Tavis, however, is not related to James; he is either the adoptive- or half-brother of Avril. Either way, it's kinda weird.
The 2009 film Loving Leah addressed the issue of levirate marriage in the orthodox Jewish community.
