"I completed some Bender-Gestalt tests, interpreted a Rorschach blot or two and chatted."

The Bender-Gestalt Test is designed to measure 'visual-motor maturity' as well as test for other developmental and neurological disorders. The original test would have involved copying a series of figures onto a blank piece of paper within a prescribed time limit.

The Rorschach test is perhaps better known as the 'Inkblot' test, in which the subject is required to interpret a series of unusual abstract shapes. It can be used as a personality test, to examine emotional functioning as well as to identify any underlying thought disorders.
