"Winter Wonderland"

Winter Wonderland is a famous Christmas song first published in 1934. Over the years it has been recorded by many different artists ranging as widely as Ella Fitzgerald and Ozzy Osbourne. The original lyrics concerned a couple who decide to marry on the spur of the moment- in 1953 an alternative version seen as more appropriate for children was published-

In the meadow we can build a snowman, and pretend that he's a circus clown. We'll have lots of fun with Mister Snowman, until the other kiddies knock 'im down! When it snows, ain't it thrillin'? Tho' your nose, gets a chillin'. We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way, Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland.
