The Book of Psalms, or the Psalter, is part of the Bible containing both Christian and Hebrew songs of praise to God. It shows the full range of the Israeli faith because it’s used in both Christian and Jewish practices. The book is divided into five sections, each matching the first five books of the Bible. It  took 1000 years to write. Authors include King David, Moses, Asaph, Ethan, Heman, and the sons of Korah.
