"Pranks of Priapus and The Grecian Way of Love"

In Greek mythology, Priapus was a rustic fertility god, son of Aphrodite and Dionysus,  and was depicted as having large and permanently erect genitalia. He was seen as a guardian deity, protector of livestock, gardens, and male genitalia, and was often invoked as a symbol of fertility and health. The Grecian Way of Love may refer to 'Greek love' - homoeroticism within the classical tradition.
