Namaste is a popular form of Hindu greeting.  The word comes from the Sanskrit for "I bow to you".  The gesture of namaste is made by bringing together the palms of both hands in front of the chest and bowing slightly.

As the 11th incarnation of Shiva, Hanuman is regarded as one of the most powerful and intelligent of the Hindu gods.  He appears in the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, in which he leads an army of monkeys against Ravana, the Demon King.
