"the last remnant in the North of the great people, the Men of the West."

Born of Hope  is an excellent 2009 film, produced and directed by Kate Madison, based on the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. The 70-minute film tells the story of Aragorn's parents and the remnants of the Men of the West.

The full film is available to watch for free on the internet: Born of Hope.  A review in The Times called Born of Hope "near note-perfect homage", going on to say that "practically all the performances have a skill level far above that which is usually evident in low-budget cinema".  I fully agree and urge you to watch this film.
