"at Sissinghurst"
Sissinghurst is a small village in the county of Kent. It is most notable for Sissinghurst Gardens, created in the 1930s by Vita Sackville-West, a poet and gardening writer.

The gardens are constructed on the site of an ancient manor house and moat. The site and buildings were derelict when first purchased by Vita Sackville-West. The gardens, farm and other buildings were taken over by The National Trust in 1967, and are maintained by Trust staff, together with donor residents Adam Nicolson and Sarah Raven.
