Our summer catalogue
Now that the excitement of the 2011 Tournament prizes has settled down to a low murmur of contented browsing, it's time to start publishing the other fine profiles submitted. We begin with a really superb profile of The Old Man and the Sea, created by Steve Skaggs.
To give each Contributor the attention they deserve, we will be publishing no more than two profiles a week. Each profile will receive top billing on the homepage.
Some of the best profiles you can look forward to reading in the next few weeks are:
Zuleika Dobson
Peter Pan
Blood Meridian
Elizabeth
Any Human Heart
Brighton Rock
Lord of the Flies
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
Lorna Doone
The Poisonwood Bible
Siddhartha
Gravity's Rainbow
Northern Lights
If This is a Man
The Day of the Triffids
Neuromancer
The History of Love
American Gods
Gulliver's Travels
And Then There Were None
There were many potential prize-winners on this list, so thank you all for taking part and we hope you will compete again in future Tournaments. Two of the 2010 Contributors, Wendy Attwell and Eleanor Updegraff, became prize-winners this year -- may their persistence inspire other Contributors on to great things next year.
