Evelyn Walsh

Evelyn has been a voracious reader for almost five decades but had very little to guide her reading had to wade through a lot of molasses to find the honey! She started to write in 2004 and found she had some small talent. It is certainly the medium through which she is most comfortable expressing herself and it helps her make sense of the confusing world about her.She has written two novels , unpublished to date and a plethora of short stories, some of which have even earned her money ! Not very much - but still - it's nice. In 2009 she ghostwrote Rebecca De Havalland's memoir 'His Name is Rebecca'published by Poolbeg Press which is available in Ireland and online. Evelyn works full time in administration for a local authority and lives with her husband and sons in Swords Co Dublin.
