Steve Skaggs has a BS in English Education and an MEd in Teaching English. He lives in South Carolina, is happily married, and the father of five. His favorite authors include Charles Dickens, C. S. Lewis, Pearl Buck, Elizabeth Gaskell, Flannery O'Connor, and Erik Larson. Some of his favorite works include "Watership Down," "Dragon Seed," "Parnassus on Wheels," "Heart of Darkness," "Our Mutual Friend," "Crime and Punishment," "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn," "84 Charing Cross Road," "Mere Christianity," and "Cry, the Beloved Country." He recently achieved a life goal by reading "War and Peace." He is a HUGE fan of the music of composer Bernard Herrmann. He also enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
